My turn!

Oh yes, we have crap. And our crap has crap. This is the dining room. Yes, there's a table underneath all that crap. (And no, no more than four of those items are mine.) See how difficult it is to hang up a jacket? The pantry (where we hang our jackets) is right beyond that wall...how dare I expect him to walk that far. And shoes - isn't the middle of the floor right where they belong?

And for some reason, even with a hook RIGHT. THERE! It's just too hard to hang the towel up after it's used. And the floor towel...well it didn't get its name just any old way. It stays on the floor...forever. (Or at least until I completely lose my mind and pick it up. )

Sleeping Mommy's vigil is in hiatus

We've been sick. I have too much to do. I'll return to this again in the future. For now, just know that my husbands crap is still laying around. You can count on it.

Day 19 and Day 20

This one will have to do for yesterday and today. It looked like this last night before bed and still this morning when I got up while he slept away. I don't expect it to change before tonight. I'm losing hope.

Day 17

No. Actually these DON'T belong here.

Seriously getting irritated.

My patience is wearing thin.

I'm entering one of the hormonal phases of my cycle. He seriously needs to take care of this crap because my head is probably going to explode over this sometime in the next couple of days. The fuse has been lit...and it's not all that long.

Day 16

Same-Ol' Same-Ol'

Compare to Day 15, we have progress!

How the VIGIL began.

You know it's gone too far when...

I asked the kids if the messy house doesn't bother them. Kasia said, "Well it's not like I grew up with a clean house."

The children are looking at pictures lately. And a common question is "where was that taken? Who's house is that?" They don't recognize the house from when Kasia was a baby because....it was clean!! I didn't allow his messes (yes, I DIDN'T ALLOW) and had nothing better to do than to pick up the house all day long. I didn't watch daytime TV. And I taught Kasia at an early age to put away what she played with.

Then came another kidlin. And a less helpful husband. And Kasia's cleaning ability and helpfulness went out the window. (She used to love to clean the kitchen and bathroom and hated when I helped her.)

TFB is learning his lessons though. I'm regularly telling him to clean up his crap and I have threatened more pictures if he doesn't comply (aka bow down to my wishes).

And if I suddenly send him on a one-week fishing trip or a long weekend away from the house, he's got to be afraid. Very afraid.

Picking up where we left off: Day 14

My husband has returned from his trip and has been home two and a half days. That's long enough to regroup and pick things up. He has not done so. He walked in the door and promptly put all his crap from the trip on the kitchen counter. ALL of the kitchen counter.

All of this needs to go to his office aka our bedroom.

At least he's consistent
